As the longest and most storied river in the world, the Nile sustains many people from different lands and languages. In this unique collaboration, more than a dozen musicians from Nile basin countries (including Sudan, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Uganda) come together to raise awareness of this most precious resource. The Nile Project’s album Aswan was one of NPR’s 2015 “Must Hear International Albums” of the year and adds still greater voice to this unique cultural and environmental calling.
