Something good can come from politicians and our often dysfunctional government: good material for the comedy troupe the Capitol Steps. For 35 years, the Capitol Steps have been poking musical fun at our political figures. The first members were congressional staffers, and over the years the Capitol Steps performers continue to come from the halls of Congress. No party, institution, or prominent political figure is spared in a Capitol Steps review as they “put the MOCK in Democracy.”
