Booker T. Jones is one of the fathers of modern soul music, whose name is synonymous with the sound of a Hammond B-3 organ and Stax Records. The legendary Memphis studio produced artists Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Rufus and Carla, Sam and Dave, and many more, all supported by the talented house band Booker T. and the M.G.’s. This tour, replete with horn section, showcases Jones, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, and four-time Grammy winner as he plays the audience through the history that is Stax Records.
